Apollo 13 calling Houston: We have a problem!
55 hours into the Apollo 13 lunar mission, there is a loud bang! Service module oxygen tank no. 2 explodes. The emergency supplies of oxygen and electricity last for 10 hours, and the astronauts are far from earth. The passengers on the spacecraft will die unless the astronauts, along with the staff at the Mission Control Center in Houston, can solve the problems. The participants must help the crew back to earth. To succeed, people, processes and tools must function optimally.
Each participant gets a specific role - everything from Change and Incident Manager to Service Desk and technical specialists. All ITIL processes come into play and the participants experience the importance of good processes and good teamwork under challenging and realistic circumstances.
