Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to all sales of courses, conferences, memberships and books from MetierWestergaard's website, www.metier.dk.

These terms provide information for all sales of courses, conferences, memberships and other products purchased from MetierWestergaard A/S website, metier.dk.

Business transactions are regulated by the danish law and legislation for sales and purchases, the danish law of treatment of personal data, the danish law of e-business and and the danish law of handling credit card details.

Purchase of class courses, online courses and E-Learning
Purchases are binding upon the reception of the confirmation email, sent to the email address noted during the act of purchase. Exceptions are made for sold out or canceled courses.

Payments
Invoices for the purchased course or courses will be sent after the confirmation has been issued. The invoice will be issued with the billing address registered during the act of purchase. The deadline for payment is 14 calendar days.

Consulting assignements are invoiced based on time and material alternatively an agreed fixed price. Payment terms are 30 days. 

In the event of late payment, interest is charged per commenced month with an additional reminder fee of DKK 250.

Cancellation of purchase
Purchase of E-Learning can not be cancelled, as the student gets access to his/her course immediately after the purchase has gone through.

With regards to cancellation of online/virtual courses, the following conditions apply:

  • Any cancellations done more than 4 weeks prior to the first day of the course is free of charge and the full amount will be credited and returned.
  • In case of cancellation 2 – 4 weeks before the 1st day of the course, 50% of the course amount is paid and the rest is credited.
  • Any cancellation done less than 14 days before the 1st course day, 100% of the course amount is paid.
    If course materials and books have been provided at the moment of cancellation, these will be invoiced and must be paid in full. However, the amount paid for the course will be credited according to the above guidelines.

In case of absence – for whatever reason – the course amount will not be refunded.

Rescheduling of courses
If you wish you change the date of your course (not applicable for adaptive e-learning), the following conditions apply:

Rescheduling/transferring to another course more than 4 weeks before the 1st course day is free of charge. In case of transfer/rescheduling, the right to cancel your course purchase is waived and the purchase can no longer be canceled.

If you wish to transfer to another course less than 4 weeks before the first day of the course, an administration fee of DKK 2,500 will be paid. 2 weeks before the course, rescheduling cannot be done. Registration and participation in the new course is then binding and can not be cancelled or moved further.

In case of illness, the seat on the course can be transferred to a colleague.

Requests for transfer/rescheduling must be sent to MetierWestergaard A/S in writing via e-mail to [email protected].

Cancellation of courses 
We strive to complete all courses. However, we reserve the right to cancel or relocate courses due to insufficient number of participants, in the event of a teacher’s illness or in similar circumstances out of our control. Cancellation of a course can occur up to 7 days before the 1st of the course day. In case of cancellation, the course participant will be offered a place on a later corresponding course. If the course participant rejects this, the full course amount will be credited.

What does the MetierWestergaards course purchase include?
All certification courses always include everything you need to become certified, including tuition, expenses for certification exams, course materials, etc.

Course materials are provided before the first day of the course. Time for preparation before and during the course should be expected.

Complaints
If you would like to submit an official complaint about our courses, our service or other matters, we ask you to do this in writing by e-mail to [email protected]. We strive to respond to your inquiry as soon as possible and no later than within 2 working days.

MetierWestergaard A/Sis solely responsible for exams related to our class courses or Blended Learning/Online Virtual courses, where the exam takes place as online ‘computer-based’ exams.

For online proctored exams, the official exam provider, PeopleCert, is responsible for the actual completion of the exam.

If you have a complaint in connection with your ITIL®, PRINCE2® or PRINCE2 Agile® exam, or if you have objections in relation to your exam result, you have the right to escalate this directly to PeopleCert. Rights
MetierWestergaard A/S reserves the ownership and all other rights (subject matter and copyright) to all course materials.

Course materials may only be used by the individual course participant and may not be shared, copied or otherwise used in connection with public display or in contexts that may be in competition with MetierWestergaard.
