Our PRINCE2® Foundation course gives you the fundamental tools to be able to involve you in projects and project work. With a PRINCE2 Foundation course, you will thus be able to contribute to managing projects successfully to completion.

PRINCE2® is an internationally recognized method of project management, which is developed based on experts and companies' best practice processes. Today, it is the leading project management method internationally and is widespread in over 90 countries and translated into 11 languages.

The PRINCE2 Foundation course is a natural choice when choosing a project manager certification that provides broad knowledge and several useful tools that can be used directly after the course.

The PRINCE2 Foundation certification is a powerful addition to your resume. For you who already work with projects, the course gives you a paper on your project management skills and for you who want to expand your career opportunities to be able to apply for jobs within project management and project work, the course is the most sought certification in project-related jobs.

With a PRINCE2® course, you expand your set of competencies to include the most internationally recognized project management procedures used in all sizes of companies worldwide. Therefore, PRINCE2® Foundation is a strong course choice if you want to work on projects and have a foot in the project world.

A PRINCE2® Foundation certification gives a blue stamp to your CV and a lot of skills you can use in and out of project work.

About PRINCE2 Foundation

As something completely unique, in preparation for your class course, you get access to our PRINCE2 Foundation E-learning, which can be used for your preparation before the class course. You also have access to the e-learning after the course, and can therefore use this for repetition before your certification exam. It ensures even higher learning and a better opportunity to pass.

The PRINCE2 course consists of three days of teaching in Danish by an experienced PRINCE2 trainer.

The course consists of lectures, group work, homework and exams.

The PRINCE2 Foundation includes the official PRINCE2 manual as an e-book. The book is included in the course price and you will receive access to it after registration has been received.

You will receive a detailed reading guide in preparation.

There is full board during the course days on all physical class courses.

Exam & Certification

There are two test exams, as well as the official PRINCE2 foundation certification exam.

The exam is multiple choice with 60 questions. 33 correct of the 60 valid answers are required to pass.

You will receive a voucher for his PRINCE2 exam, so you can book an exam at an optional time that suits you after the course. You have access to our e-learning to support rehearsal.

You can purchase a supplemental Take2 exam insurance. Read more about it below.

Prerequisites

There are no formal entry requirements for taking a course and certification in the PRINCE2 Foundation.

  • To get the most out of the course, it is an advantage that you have experience of working in projects
  • Before the course you must have read the book "PRINCE2 - Project management with success"
Take2

Take2

Take² is an insurance that can be purchased when you enrol in a course. The price of Take² is 450 DKK, which is less than 25% of the price of a normal re-examination, if you buy it after completing the course. If you have purchased Take² and you do not pass your exam, you will automatically receive an online re-exam voucher. You can take Take² whenever and wherever you want. Take² can be used up to 6 months after your exam. Order Take² when you enrol. Later it is not possible to purchase the insurance. 

Note: If you pass the exam in the first instance, Take² cannot be refunded or used for other exams.

  1. DAY 1

    OVERVIEW, ORGANIZATION AND BUSINESS CASE

    On the first day of the course, we create a solid overview of PRINCE2® processes, principles and themes.

    We are working on a case project that shows us the use of PRINCE2®.

    During the day you work with:

    • PRINCE2® overview
    • Understanding of the customer, supplier and business in the projectThe composition of the project organization and the division of roles and responsibilitiesThe reason for the project

  2. DAY 2

    PLANNING, QUALITY, RISK AND PROGRESS

    On day 2, we continue to work on the project through the individual themes and processes. To get the method completely under the skin, the teaching is alternated with collaborative assignments based on theory and cases.

    During the day do you work with:

    • Embedding and adapting PRINCE2® to the organization
    • Product-based planning
    • Product degradation and planning
    • Project quality planning and control
    • Uncertainties in projects
    • Identification and analysis of threats and opportunities
    • The day-to-day management of the project

  3. DAY 3

    TOLERANCES AND CHANGES

    Problems arise in projects. Fortunately, there is control over how we tackle them in PRINCE2®. On day three, we take a closer look at topics and changes, tolerances and deviations.

    During the day do you work with:

    • Review of test exam
    • Tolerances and deviations
    • Budgets in projects
    • Rounding, possibly. information about the Practitioner course
    • Exam information (which is taken from home with the exam voucher when you feel ready for it)
