With a PRINCE2® Practitioner course, you expand your competence set within project management to be able to take an active part in project work and project management. In the Practitioner course, you spend time working with cases and practical examples of how the PRINCE2® methods and processes can solve specific challenges you normally encounter during the life of projects.

About PRINCE2 Practitioner

As something completely unique, in preparation for your class course, you get access to our PRINCE2 Practitioner e-learning, which can be used for your preparation before the class course. It ensures you even better learning! You also have access to the e-learning after the course, and can therefore use this for repetition before your certification exam. It ensures even higher learning and a better opportunity to pass.

The PRINCE2 course consists of two days of teaching in Danish by an experienced PRINCE2 trainer.

The official PRINCE2 manual is included in the course as an e-book, just as your certification is part of the course.

You will receive a detailed reading guide in preparation for the course.

There is full board during the course days on all physical class courses.

Exam & Certification

The course contains 2 test exams as well as the official PRINCE2 Practitioner certification exam.

The exam is multiple choice and 38 credits are required to pass (55%).

You will receive a voucher for his PRINCE2 exam, so you can book an exam at an optional time that suits you after the course. You have access to our e-learning to support rehearsal.

You can purchase a supplemental Take2 exam insurance. Read more about it below.

Who is the target group?

  • For you who are PRINCE2 Foundation certified
  • Project knowledge is an advantage - it can be through roles such as: Steering group member, project manager, employee in project office (PMO)

Prerequisites

  • You must have passed the certification exam in the PRINCE2 Foundation to be able to take certification in the PRINCE2 Practitioner
  • To get the most out of the course, it is an advantage that you have experience in working on projects.
Take2

Take2

Take² is an insurance that can be purchased when you enrol in a course. The price of Take² is 450 DKK, which is less than 25% of the price of a normal re-examination, if you buy it after completing the course. If you have purchased Take² and you do not pass your exam, you will automatically receive an online re-exam voucher. You can take Take² whenever and wherever you want. Take² can be used up to 6 months after your exam. Order Take² when you enrol. Later it is not possible to purchase the insurance. 

Note: If you pass the exam in the first instance, Take² cannot be refunded or used for other exams.

  1. DAY 1

    APPLICATION OF PRINCE2 TO A CONCRETE CASE

    The participants work throughout the day with practical tasks in relation to a specific case, which forms the basis for the entire course. Based on this case, the participants test how to use PRINCE2 in practice, while at the same time practising specific exam questions.

    The instructor guides the participants with real-life experiences and draws attention to typical pitfalls - both in real-life PRINCE2 projects and in relation to the specific Practitioner exam.

    During the day you work with:

    • Practitioner tasks can be:
      • How to prepare a business case?
      • How to put together a project organisation?
      • How to prepare a product-based plan, including a product breakdown structure and a product flow diagram?
      • How to manage multiple teams using work packages - how to describe the work, approve work packages and follow up on progress?
      • How to quickly create a common understanding of a project or project scenario using the performance goals in PRINCE2®?
      • How to prepare with a risk analysis
    • Summary on PRINCE2
    • Exam training: Typical exam questions and how to best approach them, e.g. using the PRINCE2 manual

  2. DAY 2

    Q&A, WARM UP AND CERTIFICATION EXAM

    On the second and last day, we review all student questions and warm-up for the exam with assignments and test questions.

    The day ends with a Practitioner exam - a multiple-choice test lasting 2.5 hours.
